How the money works, in 2 forms
Commission reaches us in 2 forms: a share of the net revenue an operator books from readers who sign up through our links, or a one-off fee per referred player who completes a first deposit. Both are paid by the operator. Neither costs you anything, and no offer on this site is worse because you reached it from here.
We are not paid for a click. Payment depends on a reader registering and depositing, which is the structural reason review sites drift toward optimism — and the reason our scoring is fixed in a published model rather than decided page by page.
What commission cannot buy: 0 positions
0 positions in any table on this site are for sale, and 0 scores can be moved by a commercial conversation. Our scoring weights are published at how we test, and the same weights run across every operator whether they pay us or not.

Operators with no commercial relationship with us are still listed, still scored and, where the numbers justify it, still ranked above paying ones.
Why the incentive is disclosed rather than denied
Commission creates a bias in favour of operators that convert well. We manage it with 3 controls: the scoring model is published before it is applied, every figure carries a review date, and a factual error reported to [email protected] is amended within a 5 working day target regardless of who is affected.
What we do not claim is immunity. A site claiming its monetisation has 0 influence on anything is making an unverifiable statement about itself. Ours is verifiable: recalculate any expected value from the operator's published terms and check whether our number matches.
New Zealand is prohibiting affiliate arrangements
This section exists because a disclosure that ignores the law is not a disclosure. The Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 took effect on 1 May 2026 and its regulations on 3 July 2026, opening a licensing regime capped at 15 licences, with licensed operators live from 1 December 2026.
Cabinet decided that affiliate marketing and paid endorsements are prohibited under that regime. Separately, the renewed prohibition on advertising unlicensed online casino gambling commenced on 1 May 2026, backed by takedown notices and pecuniary penalties of up to NZ$5 million. Advertising by licensed operators is expected to be permitted from mid-2027, still with the affiliate prohibition attached.
The practical effect for readers: what you see here is a comparison of offshore operators, most of which are not licensed in New Zealand, and the recourse available to you is whatever their own licence provides rather than anything the Department of Internal Affairs can enforce on your behalf.
How to check us in under 5 minutes
Take any expected value figure on this site. Open the operator's terms, find the bonus amount and the wagering multiplier, multiply them for the required turnover, and apply the RTP of the eligible game. If our number and yours differ, one of us is wrong and we would like to know which.
Volatile figures are re-checked on a 30-day cycle and stamped with a review date. Anything older than its stamp should be treated as a lead, not a fact.
